Job Description

The Case Managing Paralegal will support litigation attorneys through case management, drafting correspondence, coordinating discovery, and handling court filings. This role requires prior litigation experience, strong organization, professionalism, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment. The Case Managing Paralegal will communicate with clients and opposing counsel, maintain case files, and ensure smooth file progression. As a key member of the team, the Case Managing Paralegal contributes to efficient and accurate litigation support.

Key Responsibilities and Required Qualifications

  • Serve as a Case Managing Paralegal overseeing filings, discovery, and case management tasks.
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, and legal documentation.
  • Calendar hearings, deadlines, and important litigation dates.
  • Communicate with clients, attorneys, and opposing counsel.
  • Maintain organized case files and support attorneys with daily litigation needs.
  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • 6+ months of litigation (required), legal assistant, or paralegal experience (court filing experience preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
